Justin Berti is a popular American actor who was born in Avon, Connecticut. Justin is probably best known for his compelling, intense portrayal of Elliott in acclaimed television series ‘Submission’, broadcast in America in 2016.  Justin is more recently well known for his superb performance in the rom-com ‘Divorce Bait’, which was released in 2022.

Justin in Japan….

It is worth noting that Justin has also lived in Tokyo, Japan, in fact he stayed there for 12 years. During this period of his life Justin acted, danced, and modelled his way through almost all of the entertainment industry there. He even found time to teach Yoga at an academy while there too.

Justin had his own TV Series in which he spoke Japanese (he’s gone on record as saying he does not speak Japanese fluently but enough to get by for the 12 years he lived there). I’ve added some footage of Justin which highlights his yoga and teaching skills, after all it’s part of his story. After watching the footage it’s made me wonder if this was possibly from the TV Series he did while living in Japan. Then again I could be wrong, it’s great footage just the same.

“Justin acted, danced, and modelled his way through almost all of the entertainment industry.”

Justin also started the voice over side of his career while living in Japan too, ranging from English text books, commercial tag lines right through to being a Major League Baseball announcer. Justin also played semi-pro baseball while in Japan. On top of all that he was also the voice of the in game announcer on Mario Kart Arcade Grand Prix #2 game.

In addition to Justin Berti’s career during his time in Japan, he signed up and became one of the many volunteers with Intrepid Model Adventures (IMA). IMA is an all volunteer organisation.  As an example of what they do – Justin, along with others, had the very hard task of ripping up and replacing floorboards destroyed by the devastating tsunami that hit the Tohoku region in 2011. It is worth noting that Justin also helped raise lots of money for this volunteer organisation too.

Justin’s time living and working in Japan equates to one very busy, productive, and successful time there for him and his career.

Back In The USA…

In 2015 Justin moved back to America to pursue further his acting, dancing and modelling career. Typical of the sheer focus, drive and determination that Justin appears to have in abundance, within the first year of him being back in America he was in demand.

Justin, in no particular order, filmed the successful television series ‘Submission’, (for those of you yet to see this, Justin plays the lead male role). He appeared on stage in ‘Tats: The Experience’, in the acclaimed stage version of ‘The Full Monty’, making quite an impact as the guest star in that. He also starred in ‘Brothers in Arms’ an independent movie, which in 2018 made way for the award winning independent movie ‘Frontera’ in which Justin had the starring role. Combine that with television roles, appearing in music videos, and that’s just for starters.

“Typical of the sheer focus, drive and determination that Justin appears to have in abundance.”

You might well have seen Justin in the movie ‘Twice Bitten’, or in the Lifetime movies ‘Driven to Kill’, ‘Deadly Cheers’, ‘Secrect Lives of Housewives’, ‘Secrets in the Building’, ‘Vacation Home Nightmare’, ‘Secrect Society of Lies’ and ‘Taken in Montana’. In the first half of 2025 you might have caught Justin starring in the Lifetime movies ‘Lethal Desire’ and ‘Secret Life Of The Surgeon’s Wife’ too.

You may well have also seen Justin on your television in commercials, and in hit TV shows like ‘Wild West Chronicles’ to name just one.

Justin continues to be in high demand, and according to those he works with, he’s a pleasure to work alongside too. Justin Berti is definitely an actor to keep an eye out for!

Looking To The Future…

Justin Berti is heading for a long, successful career which will continue to grow and grow due to the sheer talent, drive and determination that he has.  Justin is definitely making people sit up and take notice, I personally have been following Justin’s career with interest for a good number of years now, and I can honestly say I cannot wait to see what he does next, and watch where his career takes him!
